The Last Day

Today is the last day I am working in Boxborough, Massachusetts. The past week has been a great experience for me since it was my first time travelling by myself. I was really nervous before and up to this trip because I have never travelled by myself and have to drive everywhere myself. But now that it's past, I actually find it quite enjoyable. Although partially it's because my expenses are paid for by my employer so that's a huge plus LOL! I've been through my first hurricane, luckily we were far enough from the eye of the storm as I've been seeing many chilling images on the news in New Jersey and New York. My prayers go out to those affected. As planned, I visited the Kimball Farm I went to on my first day here. I just love this place, I know I am really going to miss it. I just wanted to visit this place again before going back home.

I wasn't really hungry so I just got a pasta & beans soup and got a seat on the second floor.

Going up the stairs...

This Kimball Farm also has a animal pen right outside the store, the funny thing is the chickens are free to run around wherever.

They have goats, chickens, even a frickin' peacock!

This chicken was the main reason I want to come back to Kimball Farm LOL! It has such a wicked hairstyle that I just need to get a nice picture of it because it's just sooo cute!

There are all sorts of vintage equipment and vehicles outside. Unfortunately, I had to get back to work to wrap things up so I didn't have time to take pictures of everything there. It would definitely be really fun to come here in summer because they also have a really nice mini-golf course on the side which looks like it's being renovated now. Someday...I will be back!

For dinner, I went back to Twin Seafood for a lobster. I think I am getting the hang of it! I finished it in about 40 minutes and did not get a single scratch! It's just crazy that for the price of a regular meal back home, I can get a lobster here, am definitely going to miss that a lot. After, I had a nice chocolate cake and a pint of Sam Adams at the hotel's bar. Pretty nice way to end the stay I'd say!
