PURE GARBAGE.
Watched it in 3D, no 3D scenes in the movie whatsoever. The acting were TERRIBLE, I mean it looks as if the cast were randomly snatched out of random locations and dumped onto the setting, while confused and lost, and then were forced to act out the scenes. Fighting scenes sucked. It was just a bunch of slow motion tai chi with a lot of CGI to make it look more interesting, however it wasn't a good combination. Sequences of events were all messed up. If I didn't watch the anime, I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. The trailer for this movie is false advertisement, it shows scenes from all three seasons, this movie was only the first season. And lastly, why all the close-ups shots? The Avatar is cool and all, but not so much that we have to examine his nostrils for half of the film. I could go on and on about how much this movie sucked. I was expecting WAY more from M. Night Shyamalan, at least for it to be watchable. I knew the movie was going to suck after the first scene, but I was hoping to at least see some 3D bending. But nope, don't even know why it was advertised as 3D. Looks like a very low budget film, you can find better stuff on Youtube. Don't waste your money and time people. I'd give it a 0.1/5, 0.1 for the cute Appa.
bro since when M. Night Shyamalan did good direction on action movie. Plus they change the cast to more western looking...Thank goodness they did use the cartoon name "Avatar". At least many may not know they are related. :P
ReplyDeleteIt's really that bad? I don't think this movie is in Singapore yet...
