Movie: Inception
Just came back from watching Inception and I am still thinking about it! It is a fun movie that makes you think a bit during the whole length. As my friend said, "It is not a movie, it is an experience." LOL! It is somewhat similar in concept to the Matrix movies, so if you like those, you would probably like Inception as well. I give it a 5/5, highly recommended.

My Childhood Hero
just came in this morning!!!
When I found out they were going to release an Ultraman action figure, I was overwhelmed with joy! I was obsessed with Ultraman when I was 5 years old. I still remember watching it after dinner and then role-playing as Ultraman while my uncle is the monster and we would fight LOL! Of course Ultraman always won hahah! I also used to have all the vinyl Ultraman figures, you know, the ones with only the shoulder joints. Ohhh those were the days...anyways I can't wait to get the baddies also so I can remake some classic scenes!
And who can forget the opening theme song? It's been stuck in my head ever since I saw it 16 years ago!

Who would you bring?
I am going to leave in a few hours to go to a cottage for the weekend with the family. We have been going to this same cottage for many years. It is quite nice to be away from the city and technology for a few days, but symptoms of withdrawal starts showing up after a day or two haha! The family is into fishing, but I just like to relax beside the lake. There's not a lot to take pictures of since I've been there so many times already. This time I am going to bring a toy with me for some pictures.
So the question is, if you are going on vacation and you can only bring one figure with you, who would it be?
Check back here next week for the pictures!

Movie Review: The Last Airbender
PURE GARBAGE.
Watched it in 3D, no 3D scenes in the movie whatsoever. The acting were TERRIBLE, I mean it looks as if the cast were randomly snatched out of random locations and dumped onto the setting, while confused and lost, and then were forced to act out the scenes. Fighting scenes sucked. It was just a bunch of slow motion tai chi with a lot of CGI to make it look more interesting, however it wasn't a good combination. Sequences of events were all messed up. If I didn't watch the anime, I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. The trailer for this movie is false advertisement, it shows scenes from all three seasons, this movie was only the first season. And lastly, why all the close-ups shots? The Avatar is cool and all, but not so much that we have to examine his nostrils for half of the film. I could go on and on about how much this movie sucked. I was expecting WAY more from M. Night Shyamalan, at least for it to be watchable. I knew the movie was going to suck after the first scene, but I was hoping to at least see some 3D bending. But nope, don't even know why it was advertised as 3D. Looks like a very low budget film, you can find better stuff on Youtube. Don't waste your money and time people. I'd give it a 0.1/5, 0.1 for the cute Appa.
