After yesterday's comic strip with Edward Elric, I found it was really fun to do. So I did another one today with his brother, Alphonse Elric.
I also put my lightbox back together. The difference is now I am lighting it up with a flash which does a much better job than the light I was using before.
I am not a huge fan of white backgrounds because it's so generic, but it does isolate the figures themselves really well and just make them stand out much more. It is still a lot of fun to shoot with a white background though, I shot several more today that I will post up tomorrow.
Revoltech has make a comeback with character figure again after figma had an edge over them. Impression and it seems Revoltech is back with a vengeance.
Ya I am really happy with them after playing around with them more and then comparing them to other figures. Although sometimes I get annoyed with Revoltech joints, they do allow the figures to go in some pretty extreme poses that most other figures cannot achieve.
These look so nice in this lighting.

DeleteThe 2nd figure is very nice :)
ReplyDeleteYup, they did a great job on him, his joints were much better quality than on Edward. Although I guess the large armor helps to hide them as well.
