Mummies Alive!

I got these guys from Ebay a while back. They were from a TV show called Mummies Alive! in 1997. I remember I only had Rath (the green snake one) back then and my friend had Ja-Kal (the blue hawk one). There's also a female member from this team, but her figure is probably very rare since I have never seen one yet.

It sure feels great to get some of my old favourites back though!

The armor pieces are all snap-on. Here is a picture of them without their armor.

  1. I love this line and the cartoon they came from. The female is Nefertina and she is incredibly hard to get ,Also they made the human kid Presley who is virtually imposable to find. They where both only sold Internationally.

    1. Nefertina...yaa that's it! Too bad she is so hard to find, I would love to complete the team. I did see the Presley figure on Ebay, but he was going for $300!!! That's waaay too much lol!

  2. I remember both the cartoon and toyline and always thought they were pretty cool.

    1. Yup and even after all these years, I still find them very cool haha. I haven't noticed that many toylines using snap-on armor pieces and the sculpt on these figures are even up to par with mass-produced stuff we see now too.

  3. I give the cartoon 50/50. I just remember Cree Summer doing a good job with the female mummy's voice. Other than that the cartoon was kinda standard early morning syndicated cartoon fair.

    1. Haha I actually went back to watch some of it on youtube when I got these figures. I was thinking to myself why I watched this LOL, but like most cartoons, they seem much cooler when watching them as a kid...just like Power Rangers haha
