Picked up several more figures from the MU line recently. New pickups include Iron Patriot, Thor, Juggernaut, and Colossus. We are soooo behind on MU in Canada, I just got Juggernaut and Colossus today! This is the first time I've ever seen them here! Picked up Iron Patriot and Thor a few weeks back when I just came back from HK. I've wanted Thor and Juggernaut for a long time, glad I finally got them! I can't wait to get some of the new figures and the rumored Avengers 5-pack!
By the way, anyone else watching the new "Avengers - Earth's Mightiest Heroes"? This TV series is AMAZING for those that haven't seen it, if you are a Marvel fan, you HAVE to check it out! I've been watching them on this youtube channel.

RX-78-2 Colored Crystal Version
Grabbed this on impulse in HK, not sure if it's legit Bandai stuff or not. On the bottom of the packaging, there's the Bandai logo and also a "Not for sale" label. I am thinking it might be some promotional item, I don't know. Doesn't matter though, translucent plastic toys are always cool in my book!

Fastlane RC Rock Crawler
One thing I just love to tinker with is improving a toy grade RC. I am always fascinated by the toy grade part of RC toys because there are just so many types and interesting designs. But about 99% of the time, the chassis of the toy grade stuff is usually a big block of plastic with a drivetrain for RWD, a motor for left/right non-proportional steering, and suspension that are either fake or just don't work. But this Fastlane crawler is probably the best toy RC I have ever seen.
I first found out about this toy on RCMania, a site dedicated to reviewing toy grade RC's. I always check this site to look for reviews on toy RC's that I am interested in. The review from RCMania was quite good, except for the weak steering. The design of the truck is a total copy of the hobby-grade type rock crawler: low geared transmission in the center, driveshafts connecting the transmission to the front and rear solid axles, beadlocks (non-functional though), soft rubber tires with aggressive treads, and rock buggy style body. I instantly fell in love with this truck and I knew I must have it. The crappy electronics is not a problem as I plan to swap in some hobby grade stuff I have lying around anyways. And to my luck, these were on sale this week too! After I brought it home, I didn't even try out the truck and proceeded to take the truck apart and start the modification. Took about 5 hours and I was done. The results were worth it, I have a cool looking little truck that crawls pretty good and only for a fraction of the price of a hobby grade one.
Here's the review by JANG from RCMania.
Here's a vid I took of mine tonight.

Kamen Rider W Revolgarry Candy Toy
This is something I picked up in HK for $99hkd. There's a total of 4 boxes for this toy, each containing a piece to combine into Revolgarry. I purchased the whole set from one of those wholesale stores that sells gashapons in sets, I believe the store was at the CTMA centre in Mong Kok. Sorry I don't have a picture of the boxes since I opened them and packed them for saving space in my luggage while in HK. Along with Revolgarry, there are also mini figures of Kamen Rider W in his various forms (Cyclone Joker, Heat Metal, and Luna Trigger) as well as their respective moto-vehicles. Enough talk, onto the pics!
Also got this set of TFA keychains in Shum Shui Po! So cute!

Food in HK
(First, sorry for not posting for such a long time since I said I would, but there are waaaay too many pics from the trip and even I am confused which ones are from where while going through them LOL! The trip went by too fast, sorta lost memory of where I went in order haha)
Ohhh...how much I miss these delicacies...
First time trying smelly tofu
It's tasty! I don't think the smell is bad at all!
Massive taro bubble tea for like $15 hkd (~$2 cdn!)
Mmmmm...
Street food are SOOO DANG GOOD!
First night out, hotpot with the family
Following day, tea time with the fam again
Juicy dumplings (小籠包)
Veggie meat buns
Some type of sesame dessert
Love the turnip cakes (蘿蔔糕) in HK, it comes in a bowl and you eat it like pudding. Whereas in Canada, they come in square pieces. Love the HK ones much more!!!
Water chestnut cake (馬蹄糕), BEST in HK! I remember eating this everytime I go for tea when I was a kid.
Fried Pumpkin dough rolled in sesame (Pumpkin 煎堆)
Amazing sesame cake from a stall beside the Shum Shui Po subway station, I've had this thing every time I go there!
Some treats from Pie & Tart
Chocolate pudding pie
Ostrich meat pie (wtf?!)...it was yummy though...not sure what the taste compare to though...very unique!
Tea time at some place at Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway bay
Nice view out the window
Night view (bad pic with portable P&S)
To the yummy stuff!
More street food again!
My cousin's bitter melon juice (EW!)
My sugar cane juice
to go with some Japanese Takoyaki...mmmm this was sooo gooooood...
Dinner with my uncle's family
Delicious sesame oil (麻油鸡) chicken by my aunt
Indulged in some desserts while shopping
Lastly, this was an interesting one. Fried dough pockets rolled in sesame and then you fill it up with some meat/veggie bits.
Mmmmm...I was practically drooling when I went over these pictures! There were a lot more goodies I had in HK, but sometimes I was just too lazy to pull out the camera to grab a pic before I start munching on them LOL!
